Sir Patrick Stewart, the renowned actor from “Star Trek” and “X-Men,” had an estimated $100 million fortune, including several luxury homes across multiple continents. He passed away at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday at the age of 86, following a private battle with Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body dementia.

Stewart owned homes in New York, Los Angeles, and Yorkshire, where he was born. In the late 1980s, he bought a residence in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, but later moved out due to paranormal activity.

In his 2023 memoir, “Making It So,” Stewart revealed that he heard footsteps and voices, while his son Daniel saw books flying off shelves in the living room. This experience did not deter him from staying nearby, and a decade later, he bought a sprawling estate in the exclusive Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

Property Portfolio

The Pacific Palisades estate, built in the 1950s, featured five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a library, a gym, and multiple fireplaces, alongside a swimming pool and landscaped gardens. The property, which was listed for $6.4 million in 2004, occupied about half an acre of land and offered sweeping mountain views.

Stewart also owned a penthouse in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, which he sold with his second wife, Wendy Neuss, for $3.82 million in 2014. The apartment featured a wraparound terrace that overlooked Central Park.

He later moved to Brooklyn, where he owned a three-bedroom apartment in a converted carriage house on Seventh Street in Park Slope. The residence, which spanned about 202 square meters, featured two-and-a-half bathrooms, a fireplace, and a rooftop terrace.

Personal Life

Stewart was married three times and had two children, Daniel and Sophie. He first married Sheila Falconer in 1966, divorcing in 1990 after welcoming son Daniel and daughter Sophie. He then married Wendy Neuss in 2000, but the marriage ended in divorce three years later. Stewart married his third wife, Sunny Ozell, in 2013.

Stewart maintained close ties to Yorkshire, where he kept a centuries-old stone farmhouse, known as Scar Top House, for 25 years. The Grade II-listed residence, which dated back to the 1680s, featured four bedrooms, three reception rooms, and an inglenook fireplace.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Stewart’s fortune was estimated to be $75 million ($106 million), accumulated across a stage and screen career spanning more than six decades. He rose to global prominence as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and as Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” film series.

Stewart’s death was confirmed on his official Instagram page, with a statement noting that he was surrounded by family and close friends at his Los Angeles home. He is survived by his wife, Sunny Ozell, and his two children, Daniel and Sophie.
